# When to use

**Subscription** in Workflowy lets you upgrade to **Pro** for unlimited items, file uploads, full sharing, Dropbox backups, and premium support.

You can subscribe from the Settings menu, and plans auto-renew via credit card. Cancel anytime - your content stays safe, and you can re-upgrade whenever you like.

# Subscribe to Pro

Pro memberships are set up for auto-renewal and are charged to the credit card you signed up with.

1. Open the settings panel from the menu bar
2. Click on “**Settings**”
3. Click on the “**Get WorkFlowy Pro**” button
4. Choose your preferred plan
5. Enter your credit card information
6. Click on “**Upgrade account**”

# Cancel a subscription

You can cancel at any time, and your membership will last until the end of the period you paid for. You will not lose any content if you cancel a Pro subscription, and you can always re-subscribe at any time.

# Education discount

We offer a free **1 year Workflowy pro subscription** to university level students and faculty.

# Non-profit discount

We offer a **50% discount** on all Workflowy subscriptions that are used as part of a non-profit organization.
To apply, please email [help@workflowy.com](mailto:help@workflowy.com) with the request for the discount and instructions on how to manage the organization's accounts.
